Drumlin Built is a full-service carpentry & contracting company based in Lunenburg County, Nova Scotia.

In 2023 we changed our name from Anckaert Built to better reflect our team approach to building and our roots within our South Shore community and environment.

We take on projects of all sizes including construction of new homes, cottages, and secondary buildings, as well as renovations and additions. If you are considering any project on your residence, such as adding an addition or deck, upgrading windows, or re-siding your house, we would be happy to discuss it with you.

At Drumlin Built we believe that the construction and renovation of homes can be part of the solution to climate change instead of part of the problem as it currently exists. This can be achieved through maximizing the energy efficiency of our homes while using low or even negative carbon materials.

In February of 2020 Owner Brendan Dunlop completed training in Building Science & Net Zero Design at Yestermorrow Design/Build School in Vermont. Through this training Drumlin Built has gained the knowledge needed to implement advanced building and renovation techniques to make your project part of the climate change solution.
